About SANSKAR KOTHARI

Rotarian Sanskar Kothari was born on 2nd April 1970 in Indore into a reputed and respected business family. From an early age, he imbibed the values of discipline, hard work, ethics, and a spirit of service, which later became the defining pillars of his personality, business career, and Rotary journey.

He completed his schooling in Indore and Ratlam. He earned a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce from Ratlam and an MBA (Finance) from Ujjain. To further strengthen his professional expertise, he pursued a Diploma in Computer Programming and a Diploma in Taxation Laws from Mumbai, a visionary step at that time.

He began his professional career in 1992 by joining the family business. With an entrepreneurial mindset, he established transformer manufacturing units in 1994 and 1998. Under his leadership, the Reliable Group became the largest supplier of distribution transformers to various electricity boards across Madhya Pradesh. Quality, reliability, and ethical business practices have remained the hallmarks of his enterprises.

In 1998, he diversified into the construction and colonization sector and developed expertise in delivering high-quality construction projects. In 2010, he successfully entered the leasing and warehousing business, providing a strong impetus to the industrial and logistics sectors.

Alongside his business endeavors, Rotarian Sanskar Kothari has actively served in several industrial and trade organizations. He has held key responsibilities in the Divisional Industries Association, Malwa Chamber of Commerce and Industries, M.P. Transformer Manufacturers Association, M.P. Laghu Udyog Sangh, and many other bodies.

He was a pioneer in the development of the first private industrial area in the Ujjain region, significantly contributing to regional industrial growth. He was appointed by the State Government as Director and Vice Chairman of Government ITIs in Ratlam, Sailana, and Alot. He has also served as an Advisor to M.P. Road Development Corporation Limited, National Highway Authority of India, and other government institutions.

For his ethical and transparent business practices, he has received certificates of appreciation and honors from the Central Excise Department, Income Tax Department, and Sales Tax Department.

His Rotary journey has been truly inspirational. He joined Interact in 1982, Rotaract in 1988, and became a member of Rotary Club Ratlam in 1995. At the club level, he has served in several capacities and was President of Rotary Club Ratlam in 2016–17.

At the District level, he has served as Assistant Governor (2019–20), Regional Coordinator, Chairman of various District Committees, Additional Trainer, and District Finance Chair. Recognizing his leadership and organizational capabilities, he was elected with an overwhelming majority as District Governor 2026–27 on 24th December 2023.

For his outstanding Rotary service, he has received numerous recognitions including Best Club Award, Best President Award, Rotary International’s Avenues of Service Crystal Award, Lifetime Achievement Award, Shining Rotarian Award, and many other honors from District Governors over the past decade.

Beyond Rotary, he has also served in prominent positions in Jain International Trade Organisation (JITO), Jain Social Group, Mahavir International, and other social organizations.

His father, Shri Bhagchand Kothari, is a practicing Civil and Certified Structural Engineer since 1963. His mother, Smt. Kaushalya Kothari, is a graduate in Arts and a homemaker. He has one sister, Sonali, a gold medalist, married to Shri Vijit Patni from a highly respected family of Chhindwara and Bhopal.

Rotarian Sanskar Kothari is married to Rotarian Deepti Kothari, his MBA classmate. She is a professional Interior Designer and an active Rotarian. She has rendered exemplary services as District Executive Secretary (2023–24) and President of Rotary Club Ratlam (2024–25).

Their son, Yashovardhan Kothari, completed his schooling in Ratlam and Indore, earned his graduation from Indore, and a Postgraduate Diploma in Entrepreneurship from Ahmedabad. He has been associated with the family business since 2023 and has been a member of both Rotary and Rotaract since 2021. He is the first Dual Member of Rotary District 3040 and will serve as District Rotaract Representative in 2026–27, alongside his father in District leadership.

Rotarian Sanskar Kothari and his family are proud members of the 81-year-old Rotary Club Ratlam. The club has produced seven District Governors and is possibly among the clubs worldwide with the highest number of Governors.

Rotarian Sanskar Kothari is a visionary industrialist, ethical leader, and dedicated Rotarian who truly lives the Rotary motto, “Service Above Self.”
